Even before the final stage, the freezing temperatures started to bite in the desert and some of the competitors were running out of strength.

When the medical team arrives, they find that Petra is suffering from a migraine attack, and the situation does not seem more serious. Petra decides to try and stay in the forest. He doesn’t want to give up.
The next day, Petra sends another emergency message.
– It makes you want to dig your eyes out of your head when there is so much pressure behind the eyes. I think it triggered it again really badly when it went online, he estimated.

– Disappointed with my own body and what it is capable of, but at the same time I was somehow proud of being able to tell myself that it’s enough.
Esa still struggled in the final, Aki and Rip. The trio has already spent 22 days in isolation.
Customer service manager Repe, 43, from Vantaa, is feeling emotional on the beach.
– I have been doing this silent death for two weeks now and at some point you have to say that you have done everything you can.
– I came with only one goal in mind and that was to win this. I don’t want to stop, but I have to stop, Repe tells the cameras.
He feels he has done his best and everything he can. Repe informs production about the end of its competition.

On the 23rd, Aki in particular feels unwell. He has to rest on the ground, because he starts to feel dizzy.
– I haven’t eaten anything for six days. Sometimes you hear something of your own and see something of your own, but it’s because of this lack of energy, Aki tells the camera when already 24 days in the wilderness have passed.
In honor of the 25 days spent in the wilderness, the final two get to choose one benefit from four options. Both choose another fishing net, because Esa, for example, has already had time to destroy its previous net.
However, net fishing in freezing autumn water causes difficulties for both. Esa begins to build the fourth raft without strength, and Aki tries to gather strength to experience the nets.

The days are ticking by and the final two have already spent 32 days in the wilderness. They don’t know how many contestants are still left.
The medical team arrives to check Aki’s condition. 45-year-old Aki’s weight has already dropped by 14 kilograms during the competition. The doctor tells Aki to squeeze his hands as hard as he can.
After the examination, the doctor has bad news.
– When I outline the overall situation here. Although I told you that I’m not afraid of anything small and I know that you are a fighter and a soulful man. You would still be able to persevere here with the last of your strength. When I can still get you out of here on my own two feet, yes, as a doctor, I have to stop this.
– Now this Aki was here. Unfortunately, your race ends here, the doctor announces.
Aki sadly starts walking towards the forest.
– Yes, I collapsed in it, because by then I had seen quite a lot of its trouble. It wasn’t fun, most of the time the race wasn’t fun. You can say it was hell.
– It’s not that there was no money, but that I basically cheated myself. It’s the kind of thing you should get over. This is a good school for that, Aki reflects.

On the boat, tears roll down as Aki ponders how life is more valuable after this experience.
