The Weeknd plays three shows at the Allianz Arena Munich. All information about setlist, support Playboi Carti, tickets & directions here.

Who doesn’t know it: a Mercedes turns the corner and this one song comes back to mind. With 5.4 billion streams, “Blinding Lights” is the most streamed song in the world – performed by artist The Weeknd.

Anyone who wants to experience the world star live can do so between June 25th and 27th at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Provided you have a ticket. Before The Weeknd moves on to Frankfurt as part of his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour, he stops by the FC Bayern Munich stadium.

Tickets

All tickets for the three shows are completely sold out on Ticketmaster. If you want to experience the Mercedes advertising with “Blinding Lights” live, you will inevitably have to look around on the secondary market.

Support

There will be a prominent supporting act on all three Munich evenings: Playboi Carti, who also has a featured appearance on The Weeknd’s 2025 album “Hurry Up Tomorrow”. For fans without prior knowledge of support, it’s worth taking a short excursion into Playboi Carti’s discography – after all, he’ll be performing his own songs for 45 minutes. Then you can sing along to “Wake up, its the first of the month” with all your passion.

Directions

If you want to max out your Germany ticket and arrive by train, head for the Fröttmaning stop. Anyone arriving by private jet from Saint Tropez or by Ryanair flight from Mallorca will be taken either by a chauffeur or by taking the U6 towards Garching Research Center to the Fröttmaning stop. From there it’s a short walk.

Weather

For an outdoor concert, clothing should be appropriate for the weather. The following applies to the Munich shows: less is more. With expected daytime temperatures of up to 32 degrees and a mild 26 degrees in the evening, you can unpack your summer clothes or leave your swimming trunks on.

Why, after decades of highs and lows, is Iggy Pop now revered and loved like never before? Our cover story about the “Godfather of Punk” provides the answer. The issue exclusively includes a vinyl single with live versions of “The Passenger” and “Lust For Life”, recorded during the 2023 concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
