A week full of protests. On Monday, dozens of tractors blocked the highway between Hoogeveen and Assen. And there were several actions in the province for the rest of the week.
Near Meppel, two tractors were confiscated.
There was another demonstration on Friday. Not by farmers, but by general practitioners and support staff. According to the GPs, the workload is too high, and something must be done about it. A group of Drenthe general practitioners therefore left for the Malieveld, another part stayed at home and took action in their own practice.
