Today, Wednesday, Finland’s first Ärrä opened in Sanomatalo in Helsinki. Previously, there was an R-kiosk in the same place, which had to give way when Reitan Convenience renewed its operations throughout Finland.

The former R kiosk is now divided into three parts. They are R-kioski, Ärrä and an as yet unpublished cafe concept.
Sanomatalo’s Ärrä is a pilot where a new concept is tested. CEO of Reitan Convenience Finland Niklas Lilius underlines that this is the beginning, which may change according to the wishes of the customers.
Don’t invest in takeaway food. Its selection includes magazines, but for example, familiar kiosk products such as newspapers are completely missing, as are gaming machines and postcards.
