Dinand Woesthoff may think that he will save The Voice of Holland, but with Johan Derksen his presence mainly evokes itching. “What a disturbing, annoying dick!” Sneeks the VI-snor.

After years of relative radio silence, Dinand Woesthoff is back in the spotlights. After the turn of the year he will even be seen as a coach at the restarted The Voice of Holland. The Kane frontman finds it a great challenge himself, but his appointment does not exactly lead to applause at the outside world, but rather to raised eyebrows.

“I get itch!”

Critics doubt whether Dinand is the right type for such a public program, because he does not exactly have the gun factor hanging on his ass. In April he was already labeled as ‘a tyrant’ and ‘a mega -route choice’. His pronounced activism, including performances with Palestinian flags, also ensures division.

What does Johan Derksen think of it? He is in the podcast Greetings from Grolloo very pronounced. “If that name is mentioned, then I always get itch everywhere. I have ever been in a talk show and he was there too.”

The Lord Jesus

It was a terrible experience, says Johan. “I didn’t know him, but that man came in and he came in as if the Lord Jesus came in, with an airtje and a look in his eyes of: Who are you, nonsense? Do you know, he looked around. I thought it was such a disturbing, annoying dick.”

“Now he has started that Kane, which is of course not a bad tire, but now he is a sort of pro-Palestina activist everywhere on stage and he is free to be as a kane. But he is also in the jury of The Voice at RTL and I think that the Voice has not appreciated so much riots around this gentleman.”

Reckless

Dinand should not think that he can play this kind of craziness at The Voice, says Johan. “That he is sitting around his neck with a Palestinian flag or such a tea towel.”

What according to Johan is going on with the singer? “That has all the stars, even Talpa stars: Success makes you reckless. Then you start to think that you can do everything, you see that everywhere. Louis van Gaal, for example, has that very bad. He has been successful as a football coach and he now thinks he has a clairvoyant opinion about everything …”
