The show will start in the second half of 2023.
After there were more and more rap artists in the past seasons of “The Voice of Germany” and “The Voice Kids”, the makers of the casting shows are now launching an offshoot with a hip-hop focus. The show will be called “The Voice Rap” and will offer new rap talents a place on the big stage. Most recently, contestant Emma went viral on The Voice Kids with her version of Eminem’s track “Mockingbird.” Even Slim Shady personally commented on the cover on TikTok.
“The Voice Rap” starts in the second half of 2023
On the site “The Voice of Germany” says that the new offshoot should start this year, in the second half of the year. Not much will change in the concept: the participants must first convince the jury in the “blind auditions”, where the experts cannot see the artists. It is not yet known who exactly the jurors are. There is only talk of two “experienced rap coaches”. The rapper who wins the competition in the end will automatically move into the semi-finals of the 13th season of “The Voice of Germany” with his coach.
