Russia is considering preparing a fake video in which it would simulate an attack by the Ukrainian military in order to create a pretext for invading Ukraine. This was stated at a briefing by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby. Reuters.

“We have information that Russia is likely to want to fabricate a pretext for an invasion,” he said.
