The Ukrainian Paralympic Committee had to get new uniforms. The Ukrainian Paralympic team was not allowed to wear an outfit with a map of the country drawn on it for the opening of the Paralympics, reports Ukrainian Pravda. According to Pravda, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) considered the map a “political statement”. The team had to change their outfits at the last minute.
