Liverpool club workers celebrated Christmas at the iconic Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Thursday.

The party took a nasty turn when the security guard found a passed out person in the toilet. By several British media according to the report, equipment for using drugs was also found in the toilet.

The club decided to stop the party, and the person who had fainted was taken to the hospital. There it was confirmed that it was not a drug-related matter. There were no players or coaches from Liverpool’s representative team present at the event.

However, the club quickly distanced itself from intoxicants.

– We do not accept and do not tolerate the use of illegal substances in any of our venues or events. We thank the incident team for their quick and professional handling of a medical emergency.

Liverpool played a 2-2 draw with Fulham on Saturday. Liverpool leads the Premier League.
