The teams that will compete in the last 16 rounds of the UEFA Europa League have been announced. The play-off stage of the number two organization of European football at the club level ended with 8 rematches.
Fenerbahçe defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1 away, but the English team won the first match 3-0 and made its way to the last 16 rounds.
Nottingham Forest will play against Denmark’s Midtjylland or Spain’s Real Betis in the last 16.
TEAMS IN THE LAST 16 ROUNDS
After the rematches played in the play-off round, Ferencvaros, Stuttgart, Panathinaikos, Lille, Nottingham Forest, Bologna, Celta Vigo and Genk advanced to the last 16 rounds.
Olimpik Lyon, Aston Villa, Midtjylland, Real Betis, Porto, Braga, Freiburg and Roma, who completed the league stage in the Europa League in the top 8, went directly to the last 16 rounds.
The draw for the last 16 rounds will start today at 15.00 GMT. Matches in this round will be held on 12 and 19 March.
