The style of Rajwa al Saif, the daughter-in-law of Rania of Jordan

IS was Rania of Jordan to be the first to share the announcement of her son’s engagementthe heir to the throne El Hussein and future daughter-in-law, Rajwa al Saif. Long brown hair, delicate features, the young woman looks like the “updated” and modern version of Rania herself: they are practically almost identical, beautiful and refined. One day she will take the place of the most elegant and influential queen in the Middle East. The curious thing is that, instead, has already been compared to Kate Middleton.

Curious because Rajwa al Saif seems destined rather to procrastinate the glamorous style of the mother-in-law which unites the Arab spirit with the Western one. Combining casual garments with couture creations according to an ensemble studied in detail. Which also includes pieces of local craftsmanship.

Rajwa al Saif as Kate Middleton?

In common with Kate Middleton, Rajwa al Saif has instead the background: both have wealthy families, both are college graduates and destined one day to meet as queens. In some ways, the engagement ceremony was also similar. As you know, the prince gave his future wife a model with a central oval-cut diamond set between two smaller sapphire stones.

The future spouses then posed for the usual photos. Royal watchers have not failed to note that the whole took place in the palace of her father and seemed to resume – in the Middle Eastern way, of course – the ceremony of the Dukes of Cambridge in 2011: dark suit for him, blue chiffon dress for her (Middleton, to be fair, had chosen a blue silk jersey dress by Issa London that was snapped up in three hours).

In short, Rajwa al Saif looks more like a mix between Kate Middleton and Rania of Jordan than a photocopy of the Duchess of Cambridge. Same long wavy brown hair as the two women, Rajwa – who has lived for a long time in New York – has already won over fashion editors: his looks have begun to appear in magazines. In particular, what struck her was a contemporary outfit that sees her with a white shirt Sara Roka and a long silk skirt from pink, lime green and aquamarine shades with lilac belt and blue Valentino pumps.

The detail that did not escape was the earrings: a model of Stephen Webster yellow and white diamonds often worn by the future mother-in-law. Were they given to you by the sovereign as a sign of affection? It wouldn’t be surprising, of course, given that too Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle inherited Lady D.

The happiness of Rania of Jordan

Rajwa al Saif was born in Riyadh on April 28, 1994 and is exactly three months older than the Crown Prince, who was born on July 28, 1994. The youngest of four children, she studied in Saudi Arabia, before graduating in architecture from Syracuse University in New York. La di lei is one of the most prestigious and richest families in Saudi Arabia: descends from a dynasty of sheikhs who reigned over the city of Al-Attar until the end of the 19th century.

The father is a civil engineer, owner of El Seif Group, one of the most powerful companies in the country in the construction and investment sector. The mother belongs to the al-Sudairi clan, a lineage close to the royal family.

The two betrothed, who will one day reign over Jordan, they have always kept away from gossip and they have always lived their relationship with discretionAnd. Also because the Hashemite tradition dictates that engagements are made public only when the wedding date is set.

Rania of Jordan wrote on her Instagram account: “I begged Allah – like every mother – to give you all the good you deserve and to find the one you love, and Rajwa has arrived. Congratulations to my son, Prince Al-Hussein, and to our precious and sweet Rajwa ”.

Al Hussein was considered the golden bachelor of Jordan. On Instagram she replied: «Let’s pray to God to bless us. Grateful to my dear Jordanian family for his sincere support. ‘
