KooKoo announced on Mondaythat Canadian package Charle-Edouard D’Astous is currently absent from the team due to personal reasons.

D’Astous has traveled to his home country, and the man’s return schedule will be revealed later.

– He is needed now with his family and hockey can take a break for a while, KooKoo’s sports director Jarno Kultanen commented in the club’s press release.

The loss of D’Astous is a bad setback for KooKoo, as the 25-year-old player was originally the number one player in his team. He was KooKoo’s most effective defender last season.

With the departure of D’Astous, KooKoo has borrowed Riku Tuomolan From Imatran Agile. The 20-year-old defender’s loan lasts for a week.

Tuomola, originally from Forssaly, has played a total of 64 regular season and playoff games in KooKoo during the last two seasons.
