The Philadelphia Flyers are bouncing out of the playoffs.

In the lions’ jersey at the Olympics, delighted Rasmus Ristolainen31, is about to miss the playoffs again.

The Philadelphia Flyers, represented by Ristolainen, lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets on the night before ski week in Finnish time in their home arena, and the team’s playoff dreams experienced a hard knock. Both teams play in the Metropolis division in the division.

The Flyers are five points behind the Ottawa Senators in the last wild card spot.

Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet was frustrated after the struggle. The Flyers started the match with a bang, but the chronic finishing problem that had been plaguing the organization for a long time reared its head.

– The game should have been at least 3-0 after the opening set, he announced.

The Flyers still have 12 games left in the regular season. There is time to claim a playoff spot, but not too much.

– You just have to take the positives from this. Like I said, I think we mainly played well. Finishing is something we’ve talked about all season. We need to work on that more.

Tocchet also stated that in tight playoff-style matches, the singles must go to at least a tie. He saw that the Blue Jackets were closer to the wings and stronger in singles.

Still not?

Ristolainen is playing in his thirteenth season in the NHL. He has played 809 regular season games, but the Turku player has not accumulated any playoff games.

The bull-like defenseman played at the beginning of his career for the Buffalo Sabres, who plowed in the bottom mud of the NHL a few years ago. Ristolainen is now playing for the Flyers in his fifth season, but the playoffs have remained a dream even in Philadelphia.

Ristolainen has previously expressed that he was made for playoff hockey.

The defender was really convincing in the Lions’ shirt against the best in the world, so he would certainly be in his element in the real games of the spring as well.

The Flyers are riding a three-game winning streak before the Blue Jackets match, so the team is in good shape.

I don’t think Ristolainen will see playoff hockey this year either. PDO
