The Sopranos star Suzanne Shepherd has died

Actor Suzanne Shepherd has died at the age of 89. Shepherd’s family confirms the news TMZfor the magazine.

Shepherd’s only daughter, Cover, 62, says her mother slept off Friday morning, November 17. According to the daughter, there is no information yet on the exact cause of the actor’s death. Kate says her mother’s health has deteriorated recently with COPD.

Shepherd is best known for, among other things The Sopranos from the series and Mafia brothersfrom the movie. She played Edie Falcon’s mother, Carmela, in The Sopranos. The actress had a similar role in Mafia Brothers, where she played Lorraine Bracco’s mother, Karen Hill.
