The Smile will be on tour again in 2024 and will stop in Germany five times. The tour announcement also comes just in time for the release of their new single “Friend of a Friend” on January 9th. It starts on June 8th – Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich are on the three-piece band’s schedule.
WALL OF EYES is coming soon
The Radiohead duo Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, along with drummer Tom Skinner, are also taking their new record WALL OF EYES with them on the journey, which they will release on January 26th. It is the second studio album since their formation. The previous album, A LIGHT FOR ATTRACTING ATTRACTION, reached number five in the UK charts. “Friend of a Friend” is the third single released after “Wall of Eyes” and “Bending Hectic”.

The Smile in Germany: Three times in June, twice in August
After the release of WALL OF EYES, The Smile will start their extensive European tour at the beginning of March – 32 concerts are coming up. After a few appearances in the UK, they arrive in Hamburg’s Stadtpark on June 8th. In the following days we will go to the Cologne Palladium and the Verti Music Hall in the capital. Frankfurt and Munich will have to be patient; the group will not appear here until mid-August.
