Fashion designer Belma Özdemir analyzed the 500 stands of the seventh edition of the Sourcing Messe Texhibition in Istanbul. She focused on trends, colors and quality and created two trend areas based on her findings, each with three concepts. These six F/S26 concepts show how manufacturing and designers: Design the future of fashion inside by not only responding to aesthetics, but also on the changing needs of consumers: inside.

Timeless Reimagined – a new timelessness

The first concept in Trend Area 1, “Timeless Reimagined”, builds on “Stealth WEALTH” or the “silent luxury” – a continuing trend in which the focus is on subtle elegance. It is not only about the luxurious radiance of high -quality fabrics (silk, cashmere and velvet), but also about their function. Innovations such as temperature -regulating and wrinkle -free, breathable substances play a major role. “They contribute to the practical everyday life of fashion,” explains Özdemir. Suitable materials are, for example, bamboo and organic cotton blends. The color palette of this trend includes Dark Blue, Limed Oak, Deep Carmine, Star Dust, Sorrel Beige, Lavender Blue, Congo Brown and Dawn White.

Less is more & Beyond – with less achieving

The second concept in Trend Area 1, “Less Is More & Beyond”, is about modern minimalism, in which geometric shapes, clear lines and attention to detail are in the foreground. “This concept emphasizes simplicity, but with a special twist,” says Özdemir. For example, transparent materials are combined with metallic accents to create a modern look. The substances used such as lyocell, viscose and silk give the clothing a subtle shine and flowing movements, which ensures an elegant look that is suitable for different occasions. The color palette consists of delicate pastel tones such as pink flare, cascade green, faded purple, astca yellow and calestial blue.

Exotic Flourish – inspiration from nature

The last concept in Trend Area 1, “Exotic Flourish”, emphasizes the connection between nature and fashion. “This concept is a reaction to the ecological challenges in front of which the fashion industry is facing,” emphasizes Özdemir. Natural colors and fabrics play the main role here. Think of the colors of tropical plants, water textures and biological materials. The focus is on fabrics made of bamboo, hemp and organic cotton as well as sustainable alternatives to leather – such as pomegranate shells. The color palette includes faded purple, wasabi, Apple Blossom, Dusty Pink, Carbon Gray, Rose Madder – all inspired by nature. Important materials in this concept are Tencel, Biosilk and Ecovero.

Immersive Evolving – an ode of digital innovations

The first concept of the trend area 2, “Immersive Evolving”, is an ODE on the influence of technology on fashion. Important materials in this concept are 3D printed fabrics and substances that come from intelligent manufacturing processes, including AI-controlled designs, digital prints and nanotechnology (which works with particles less than 100 nanometers). Waterproof or self -cleaning fabrics also fall. “This concept goes beyond aesthetics – such as prints and holographic effects -: It also offers solutions for the functional needs of the modern consumer: inside,” says Özdemir.

Mystical Glow – evening fashion redefined

“Mystical Glow”, the second concept in Trend Area 2, offers the answer to the changing lifestyle of consumers: inside of today. “Due to the global warming, more and more activities shift to the evening, which leads to an increasing demand for evening fashion, which is both elegant and practical,” explains Özdemir. The concept combines the mystical energy of the night, visible in the dark, glittering fabrics, with the practical side of what consumers await: on the inside of day clothes. Suitable fabrics are satin, metal threads and light -reflecting materials. Colors that belong to this concept are Green, Lunar Green, Yale Blue, Irish Coffee, Rose Madder, Regent Gray, Olive Yellow and Wasabi.

Spellbound Allure – artistic creativity and function

The sixth and last concept of the trend area, “Spellbound Allure”, focuses on eye -catchers with function, i.e. the combination of creativity and functionality. “The concept plays with the desire of the consumer: to wear fashion inside, which is both visually impressive and practical,” says Özdemir. Innovative fabrics such as Memory Foam and 3D rope not only offer comfort, but also convey a futuristic feeling. The textures stimulate the senses, while the colors of this concept – Sun Yellow, Turquoise Blue, Pinkish Purple, Rose Madder, Silver Gray, Celestial Blue – ensure energetic charisma. This concept includes fabrics such as tencel, linen and bio -based nylon.
