When there is natural ice again, she wants to be well prepared. ,,A few years ago I could barely make it through a bend”, says Rennie Rijpma (58) from Leeuwarden. “About fifteen years ago I had lessons for a few years. After the Elfstedenhal was renovated, I started taking lessons again.”
