“The same situation as in Crans-Montana”: witnesses point to burning champagne bottles after fire in German nightclub

Last weekend a serious fire broke out in a nightclub in Kehl, Germany. Witnesses point to champagne bottles with fireworks fountains as a possible cause. The incident is reminiscent of the tragedy during New Year’s Eve in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. In contrast to the tragedy in Crans-Montana, there were no fatalities in Germany.
