The International Paralympic Committee announced on Thursdaythat Russian and Belarusian athletes are still not seen at the Beijing Paralympics. The countries were kicked out of the Games because Russia attacked Ukraine with the help of Belarus.
It’s a pretty complete turnaround, as the IPC announced on Wednesday that it will allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete as neutral athletes without flags and other national symbols.
The decision of the Paralympic Committee came at the last minute, as the opening of the Games is tomorrow.
