The rockers will continue to meet – only more conspiratorially

BZ editor Axel Lier on the ban on the Hells Angels local group “Central”. On Thursday morning there was a raid on a clubhouse belonging to the group in Reinickendorf Photo: Michael Körner

The police squad arrived at dawn.

The officials took everything that wasn’t nailed down from the Hells Angels clubhouse in Reinickendorf: grill, shisha pipes, non-alcoholic beer, a washing machine, refrigerator – and of course lots of club insignia.

The photo of the police officers removing and carrying away the club emblem should make the rockers particularly angry.

Interior Senator Iris Spranger (SPD) banned and dissolved the Berlin local group “Central” of the world’s largest rocker club on Thursday. The suspicion is that the rockers are continuing their criminal and anti-constitutional activities under the guise of a new name, even though the club was banned in 2012.

One thing is certain: there was not a single arrest on Thursday among the rockers, not a single arrest warrant. The Brotherhood will continue to meet and do business together.

Only in other places and probably even more conspiratorial – even without clubhouse, club cash register and insignia …
