In one of the branches of Sberbank in Ivanteevka near Moscow, robbers tried to open ATMs with gas. We overdid it.
“The police found that two men entered the premises where ATMs were installed and when they tried to steal money, there was a bang. As a result, one died on the spot, the second disappeared,” said Tatyana Petrova, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow areas.
The photographs from the scene show that the robbers brought a whole gas cylinder with them to the case. But the money didn’t work. At first, judging by the surveillance cameras, there was some kind of hitch. One of the accomplices comes in and out of the department. Then a bright flash. A few seconds later, one of the criminals leaves the scene, the other, the one at the epicenter, most likely died on the spot.
Most likely, the recording, which captures the moment of cotton in the Sberbank branch, could have been made on this video surveillance camera, which is mounted on a pole near a public transport stop, which is literally 50 meters from the scene. Moreover, this is the very center of Ivanteevka. Here at the same distance is the city administration.

“On this fact, the investigative department for the city of Pushkino of the Main Investigative Committee of the ICR for the Ministry of Defense organized an inspection. Currently, an investigative and operational group is working on the spot, the details of what happened are being established. Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made,” says Anna Tertichnaya, assistant head of the main investigation department SK in the Moscow region.
The fugitive is now being sought by the police. Patrols were sent to the streets of the city.
“The funds were not stolen and were not injured at all. Now Sberbank’s security officers are cooperating with the investigation, but details are not disclosed.
