A National Football Team, which will face Portugal away on Thursday, March 24, in the 2022 FIFA World Cup European Qualification play-off match, will go to this country tomorrow.
The crescent-star team, which came second in Group G in the qualifiers, earned the right to compete in the play-offs in order to get a World Cup ticket. Nationals who match with Portugal in the play-off semi-finals will play in the final match with the winner of the Italy-North Macedonia match if they win the semi-final match to be played over a single match.
A National Team will face Portugal on Thursday, March 24, in its first match on the way to the World Cup. Star and crescent footballers playing in Turkey will begin to gather in Istanbul as of this evening. Most of the players running abroad will join the camp in Portugal.
The national team under the management of coach Stefan Kuntz will go to Porto, Portugal tomorrow for the match on March 24 and will do their work here.
National team will play the final match with the winner of the Italy-North Macedonia match in case they eliminate Portugal. If the crescent and star team are defeated by Portugal, they will face the loser of the same match in a special match.
In both cases, the match will be held on Tuesday, March 29 at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium.
