On Monday night, some rain could fall in the west and northwest, and in the northwest and in isolated cases towards the center of the country it could freeze or snow at times, the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach said. There is a risk of black ice locally. The lowest temperatures in the west and on the Upper Rhine are between plus 2 and minus 1 degrees, otherwise minus 2 to minus 8 degrees, and in Western Pomerania up to minus 14 degrees.

Otherwise the sky is mostly cloudy. “In the west a few drops fall here and there. In the extreme northwest it can also freeze.” According to the forecasts, the temperature gradient will remain the same on Monday: the range in maximum values is between minus 8 degrees on the Oder and plus 11 degrees along the Upper Rhine.
According to the DWD, new precipitation will arrive from the southwest on Tuesday.
