Swedish Olympic heroes were supposed to land at Arlanda Airport on Monday night, but a blizzard blocked plans. So the athletes were first flown to Oslo.
On the plane were, for example Jens Burman, William Poromaa, Calle Halfvarsson, Frida Karlsson, Ebba Andersson, Jonna Sundling, Charlotte Kalla and Emma Ribom.
Eventually, the storm subsided to such an extent that the plane was able to land at Arlanda Airport several hours late.
– It was a little hard, but nice that we finally got to land. The atmosphere on the plane was pretty good and we kept a good feel for it, Sundling said.
It was also hard in the race village. House Dahlqvist said earlier that water flowed from the ceiling into his and Frida Karlsson’s room.
– It was perhaps the smallest problem in the race village, Karlsson laughed.
According to the woman, the floor of the hotel room was completely full of water in the last days of the Games.
