The players’ argument turned into a fist fight in the locker room.

Real Madrid player Federico Valverde has been diagnosed with a brain injury after a blow to the head, the club says in the bulletin.

On Thursday, Valverde and French player Aurélien Tchouaméni got into a fight in the locker room after training.

There is a bit of confusion about what happened in the booth, but Valverde is said to have fallen and hit his head.

RMC Sport, who reported on the fight, and BBCAccording to , Valverde was unconscious for a few seconds. ESPN reported that Valverde needed stitches after the accident.

The club says Valverde is in good health at home. According to the release, he needs 10-14 days of rest.

Real Madrid has told that he will initiate disciplinary measures against both players involved in the fight.
