The winner of the new music competition will be decided on Saturday, February 28.
This time, seven teams are competing for the win and the place to represent Eurovision: Komiat, Etta, Kiki, Antti Paalanen, Chachi, Sinikka Monte and Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen.
Iltalehti readers have already voted for their favorite. Based on Iltalehti’s vote, UMK would be won by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, who became the pre-favorites. The duo participates in the race Flamethrowerwith his song.
On Friday afternoon, just under 6,500 votes had been cast in Iltalehti’s voting, of which up to 70 percent went to Lampenius and Parkkonen.
Antti Paalanen, who competes with his song, reached second place in the voting Back hair. Paalanen received 13 percent of the votes cast.

With these prospects, Komiat would come third with 7 percent of the vote. The group represents with their song Lululai.
The final result will be revealed on Saturday in the UMK final. The representative of Finland is chosen based on the votes of the public and the international jury, so that the final result consists of 75 percent of the votes of the public and 25 percent of the jury.
