Rapper Averagekidluke, that is With Lucas Kihlman has a successful year behind him. Denim-with his album, the artist has done a lot of gigs and it has been raining popularity.
At the Emma gala, the artist received four nominations.
Denim was also recently noticed internationally. The marketing of the album, which was made in five days in Stockmann’s window, was quoted by the international music media Music Ally In the Campaigns of the Year 2025 list.
– It’s cool to see that it became such a big deal and now in other countries it can be like “that thing was done in Finland, now we can do this here”.
– It’s cool that when you take risks, they pay off, says Kihlman.
The successful year has also included plenty of gigs, but in between the artist also manages to spend time with his girlfriend.
– What do we like to do? We just watched a very painful Swedish series. We have a cat, we go to movies and eat, Kihlman describes the couple’s everyday life.
If Kihlman has a longer break, when he doesn’t have to be at home or at concerts, the artist heads abroad with his girlfriend.
– You can get away from Finland to the warmth, to Paris or London to go shopping. We both like it very much, says Kihlman.
Kihlman confirmed to Iltalehti at the Emma gala this year that he is dating Isac Elliot’s little sister.
Kihlman told Yle about his relationship Gog’s kantabari podcast earlier this year. Kihlman first met his partner through his friend and current tour manager. When Kihlman went to the same school with Elliot’s little sister, they got to know each other better.
