Radio presenter Ville Tanskanen and his children have been the targets of disgusting comments.

Radio host Ville Tanskanen publication on social media has received a lot of attention – for better or for worse.
Tanskanen was shooting a video in a grocery store by chance, when suddenly his child said “scream hell” after seeing a bloody fish placed on the fish counter.
The spontaneous reaction of the four-year-old child was recorded on a video, which Tanskanen decided to publish later on Instagram.
Then it exploded, Tanskanen tells Iltalehte.
The publication quickly gathered hundreds of thousands of views and over 10,000 likes. In the comment field, many people said that they were happy and amused by what they saw.
– It was really funny and heartwarming, says Tanskanen.
However, Tanskanen soon noticed that the tone of the comments changed.
“Commit to that education”
Disgusting comments started pouring into the comment field because of one curse word, Tanskanen says.
Some of the comments were really dark, he laments.
– Someone suggested that you go fishing with your son. Then someone comments that you could do a favor and not put on life jackets, says Tanskanen.
Tanskanen points out that some of the comments have gone so far that they even call for violence against the child, such as giving “bone buttons”.
The publication is accompanied by, among other things, the following comments:
– Holy hell! What a brat, one user wrote.
– Start with that education. The use of language sounds like a bone button or hair dusting, another wrote.
– It’s sad that such a young child talks like that, the comment field reads.
“Stopping”
Tanskanen says that he was surprised that people reacted so strongly to a video featuring a small child.
– The video was claimed to be of inferior quality, my parenting was criticized and finally I was even told to drown, Tanskanen says.
– This is stopping, he sums up.

At first, Tanskanen responded to rude comments with sarcasm and humor, true to his style.
However, the number of nasty comments made Tanskanen feel low.
The fact that assumptions are made about a four-year-old child, his personality, his father and his upbringing because of a few seconds of video is absurd, Tanskanen says.
He thinks it is important to highlight the way adults comment on children on social media.
– I hope they would try to remember that behind the video is a real little child and a father who takes care of him.
