In a new direction in Opdracht van VRT en De Standaard wordt cd&v de the smallest partij van Vlaanderen. Met 8.7 percent, 6.7 percent less than the result of the Vlaamse Verkiezingen of 2019, is the part of the cell less than the PVDA. Cd&v-voorzitter Joachim Coens besliste daarop vrijdagavond om vervroegd op te stappen en riep de partijraad op om een vervroegde voorzittersverkiezing uit te schrijven.
“Joachim heeft zich heel moedig opgesteld. It was thought and acted in the concern of the part and was responsible for that,” said Minister Verlinden. The knowledge that the problem of the fundamental part is dan the person van de Voorzitter. Ze vergeijkt het met a Voetbalploeg. “He was told about the results of van de ploeg, but how he was said to be the first to speak, that is the coach. En het is also precious the role that Joachim heeft opgenomen.”
Volgens Verlinden wants cd&v “dit momentum aangrijpen om een gezamenlijk antwoord te vinden”. “Het is important that we realize on the basis of van de bearing that we still need more sea than doen om ons verhaal te verllen aan mensen. “Wij duwen onze standpunten wel degelijk door”, says minister Verlinden. “Avenues we never sell in a different way. We would like the mensen de boodschap geven dat hun worries been heard.”
The cd&v procedure is accordingly minister Verlinden één van samenwerking. “He is a lot more that connects than separates. We loved in samenwerking, we lived in the neighborhood for cohesion and coherence in the middle. Wij geloven in wat mensen can en dat elke mens telt.”
Staatssecretaris for Asiel en Migration Sammy Mahdi condigde zaterdag aan dat hij Joachim Coens wil optvolgen as voorzitter van zijn partij. Blinding is positive. “Hij is a scissors communicator. Het zou wellicht makkelijker zijn om te blijven zitten as state secretaris maar hij heeft het lef om zich kandidaat te places voor het voorzitterschap. De leden Zullen beslissen.”
