The Pretenders on tour 2024

After releasing their current album “Relentless” in 2023, the Pretenders will tour Europe with the record in 2024. The group around Chrissie Hynde was only on stage in North America in 2023 as support for the Foo Fighters, and their EU headline tour starts in Stockholm in March.

Almost half a century of rock’n’roll

The Pretenders have been around for 45 years and have released twelve albums since then. With their current record “Relentless,” Hynde and her band proved once again that rock cannot be killed, even if the album’s opener “Losing My Sense of Taste” suggests otherwise. “I don’t even care about rock and roll,” the front woman sings fervently and then convinces us otherwise. The album has a total of twelve tracks

On their tour, the Pretenders will play older hits in addition to their most recent songs. The band announced this on Instagram on Friday, December 8th. This should be a reason to be happy for all German fans, because while countries like the Netherlands or Belgium only get one concert and others go completely empty-handed, there are five shows taking place in Germany.
