THE POTENTIAL OF A CONSOLE IN YOUR HANDS
Once we extract the Razer Kishi V2 from its characteristic black and green box we find a controller with luxury finishes. Simply running your hand over the controller shows that the plastic that has been worked on is of a high quality. The design is very similar to that of a Nintendo Switch controller, although in the opinion of the person who subscribes these lines, its use is much more comfortable and enjoyable, as well as the qualities are superior. The design is thought to be two pads attached to a bridge where the USB type-C connector is located that allows the connection with android devices.
On the left is the left analog stick and a mechanical pad which is a real treat for playing retro games. We also find the options button and another to share. On the other side would be another joystick, the ABXY buttons, a Menu button and another for access to the application razer nexus which we will talk about later. At the bottom of this side is a USB-C that allows us to connect the phone charger while we play. An incredible quite interesting design point.
At the top are the triggers L1/R1 and L2/R2 with a very comfortable touch. Flanked by these are buttons for macro M1 and M2.
PLAY TESTS
Thanks to ‘cloud gaming’ we have been able to enjoy this game with AAA titles. Thanks to the Xbox GamePass Ultimate you can enjoy games through the cloud, as is the case with Dragon Quest, Guardians of the Galaxy, Gears of Wars 5 either Halo Infinity. If Asphalt 9 falls short, we can also play the incredible ForzaHorizon.
As for mobile games, Diablo Immortal practically becomes a console game when we attach the gamepad to our phone. The same goes for other titles like Call of Duty Mobile or Asphalt.
Thanks to the Razer Nexus application we can remap all the buttons to play, so if do you like to play with emulators It is also a very interesting opportunity. The truth is that the possibilities of this Razer Kishi V2 are endless.
CONCLUSIONS
The new Razer Kishi V2 unleash the full potential gaming of our mobile phone, turning it into a portable console that can allow us endless opportunities if we like to play.
