Vimpelin Veto unexpectedly lost 0-2 in the men’s Superpesis final series last week, but on Saturday, the familiar strong Veto was on the field.

Vimpelians won the third match at home 2–0 (4–3, 3–0) and leveled the final series at 1–2.

Veto was the epitome of struggle Elmeri Anttilawho made several crucial blocks and scored two runs (hitting 8/8).

In the second period, Anttila served one of the season’s most phenomenal away game performances. Jymyn Roope Korhonen hit the ball into Savonjoki, and Anttila slid on his side, feet first, off the embankment into the water.

The 23-year-old talent caught the ball, threw it back onto the field while standing in the river and helped his team make an important save. After a dazzling performance, Piikkari went to the exchange.

Anttila’s 3–2 lead in the opening period was also special. The punch bounced Jymy Niko Korhonen from the front of the flipper and bounced onto the tent canopy of the bar stand next to it.

The TV pictures showed Korhonen running after the ball to the serving area.

The opening period ended narrowly 4–3, but the second period was Veto’s hay 3–0. The people of Sotkamo only had a few three-pointers in the second period.

The Vimpelians’ outfield fumbled twice in the opening period. Roope Korhonen’s 2-0 shot would have been missed by the man in a normal situation and caused a clear fire, but Veto’s outfield couldn’t catch the ball.

The hit that brought Sotkamo to a 3-3 draw also reeked of fire, but Veto’s throw from the outfield missed the home plate.

However, the bet rose alongside and passed. The hosts decided to win the period when Aleksi Lassila punched through from three sides. Kanala ran home from second while Jymy was looking for the ball from Savonjoki.

Jymy leads the final series with a 2–1 victory. Three wins are required for the championship.

The next match will be played on Sunday in Sotkamo.
