Iltalehti reported on Sunday, April 5, about the Instagram publication that caused a stir by Finland’s Eurovision representative Linda Lampenius.
In the publication’s video, Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen posed together. In the background, their song Liekinheiti is playing. The photo caused a minor uproar, as Lampenius was wearing a long gray fur coat. According to Ilta-Sanom Lampenius said in the comments section of his Instagram account earlier that it is fake fur.
On Sunday afternoon, the publication can no longer be found on Lampenius’ Instagram account. It is not known whether Lampenius himself deleted the publication or whether it was deleted for another reason.

Those who are against furs comment on the publication very harshly.
– Role models have a great responsibility for what they support with their own choices. Torture is not a choice for responsible role models. Really disappointed and sad.
– Come on Linda. You would think that in 2026 there would be no need to normalize the use of fur anymore.
– Shame! Fur farming is animal cruelty!
– Fur is murder. Shameful.
Iltalehti reached Lampenius on Sunday morning by text message. He directed the contacts to his record company. Representatives of the record company did not respond to a request for comment.
