The passing of Aira Samulin touches many.

On October 23, it was reported that Aira Samulin has died at the age of 96. Aira, who lived to a respectable age, passed away in Meilahti hospital.

Aira lived on Helsinki Boulevard. He also spent time at his Hyrsylä Mutka travel destination in Nummen Hyrsylä, Lohja.

Aira’s passing touched the people of Helsinki. On a Tuesday morning in November, there were candles in front of the house on Boulevard. Candles and one red rose had also been brought to the crab door of the house.
