Milan Club announced that 51-year-old Portuguese coach Fonseca was dismissed.
Fonseca, who previously coached teams such as Porto, Braga, Shakhtar Donetsk, Roma and Lille, signed an agreement with Milan at the beginning of the season.
Milan, which displayed an unstable image under Fonseca’s management, ranked 8th in the league by collecting 27 points with 7 wins, 6 draws and 4 losses in 17 matches.
Milan, which had 4 wins and 2 losses in the UEFA Champions League, is in the 12th place with 12 points.
