The captain of the Canadian national curling team gave a full wing to the Swedes.

Canada’s performance at the Olympics sparked a lot of discussion. PDO

The curling preliminary group battle between Canada and Sweden, which caused a lot of discussion at the Winter Olympics, has once again taken a new turn.

The match made headlines because Canada’s Marc Kennedy acted against the rules based on an unofficial video image, as a result of Sweden Oskar Eriksson and Kennedy drifted into a fierce spat of words.

– I have never done that. You can go to hell. I don’t give a shit, the Canadian charged at Eriksson, who claimed Kennedy touched a rock after the hog line.

Canada won the match and eventually took the Olympic gold. However, Canada has not forgotten the situation against Sweden.

– We have a hockey mentality in the curling team. We are not going to let the Swedes, who are getting their backs, intimidate us and push us aside. We won gold and they finished last, so I think that says a lot, Canadian captain Ben Hebert told to Spotrscage.

Hebert gave feedback especially to Eriksson.

– He is a snake in the grass. What he tried to do in the Olympics doesn’t really represent the Olympic spirit. I lost a lot of respect for him because of it. He’s won the Olympics, they’ve won Grand Slams, they’ve won World Championships, and when they were on top, you never saw that from him.

– For the past two or three years, they have been under a lot of pressure and rather insignificant in the curling world. “They haven’t won anything, they’ve fallen out of a Grand Slam, and a last-place finish at the Olympics sealed it,” Hebert continued.
