Hurts and happens in the NHL.
The NHL will be playing an unusually large number of prime-time games on Friday, as Thanksgiving festivities have put the NHL schedule into a new light in North America.
Thanksgiving is a significant milestone in NHL history. In the series’ history, this late November celebration has become a day that separates the wheat from the chaff.
Namely, in the salary cap era, the teams that are in the playoff spots on Thanksgiving have an average of 75 percent chance of making the playoffs.
This season, especially in the Eastern Conference, turnover may be higher.
The conference is wide open, and the difference between the top team and the bottom team in the conference is only about 11 points. This bracket therefore includes all 16 teams of the conference. The Eastern Conference is extremely even right now.

If the aforementioned history were to repeat itself and 75 percent of the teams currently in the playoff spot advance to the playoffs, it would potentially spell a harsh fate for the reigning champion, the four-man Florida Panthers.
The champions are third last in their conference. However, the difference to the playoff line is only three points.
The team, which suffered from severe injury problems throughout the season, started Friday night’s match with a bang.
The Panthers took a 2–0 lead in less than three minutes, when Evan Rodrigues and Sam Bennett hit
However, the hosts’ celebration was short. The Calgary Flames tied the game at 2-2 midway through the period.
In the second set, the flame jerseys hit the scoreboard with 4-2 already and harassed the Panthers into a tight spot.
The Panthers came within a goal in the final set, but did not manage to score any points from the match. The defeat was the second in a row for the reigning champions.

The Manhattanites led the fight after two sets already 4–0, but the Bruins got within two goals in the first ten in the final set Casey Mittelstadt and By Morgan Geeks with goals.
The Finnish defender also played a prominent role in Geekie’s hit Henri Jokiharju.
Jokiharju received the puck at the blue line, moved towards the center and shot the puck towards the goal. Geekie guided the game tool into the goal and narrowed the gap to two hits.
The Bruins got up to this and then got frustrated. Initially Alexis Lafrenière hit the puck into the empty Bruins goal to make the game 5-2, on the next change the baseman Vladislav Gavrikov guided the team to a 6–2 lead from the front of the goal.
So far, the number one star of the match has been Rangers Artemi Panarinwho has been involved in every goal of his team with 1+3.
