Zobel ensures perfect start in the biathlon sprint
Zobel had celebrated his first win of the season in the sprint on Wednesday and, from a German perspective, made a perfect start to the IBU Cup week. Born in Starnberger, the ten kilometers of Sivert Bakken and the American Paul Schommer referred to the other podium places.
“Perfect day, perfect snow, perfect conditions. It feels great to have hit all ten shots and to stand at the top of the podium again,” Zobel was then cited by the International Biathlon Association IBU.
