Cristina Kirchner crossed back to Mauricio Macri. In that exclusive interview conducted by the journalist Daniela Gian, Macri’s mother indicated: “I have hit him for lying”. Four years later, Cristina used that reference in a tweet.
“Regarding the numbers we were talking about yesterday at the inauguration of the President Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline which, with its 573KM, allows the incorporation, in this first stage, of 11 million m3/day into the main gas network. Between 2003 and 2015 3,211KM of trunk gas pipelines and 290,690 HP were installed in compression plants that allowed expanding the transportation capacity of national gas production by 26 million m3/day,” wrote Cristina. And then she completed: “Between 2016 and 2019, 53KM of trunk gas pipelines and 3,100 HP were installed in plants and turbocompressors, figures that -as the values themselves indicate- had no impact on the transportation system.” Then the vice pointed to Macri, who had made his public statements on the matter: “Now it is understood why his mother punished him for lying.”
In the interview with NOTICIAS, Blanco Villegas revealed: “I have raised him with great affection and within the possibilities of teaching that one could give him, perhaps too severe because my family was very severe with me. He did not have special studies to know how to treat children.” In addition, he maintained: “I said that he could not become President. It was one of the things that reproached him the most. I’ve come to hit him for lying, which I regret, but you shouldn’t lie, never“.
After Cristina’s tweet, Macri answered him through the same social network: “The vice president accuses me of not having built gas pipelines. Why would he do it, if he had left us without gas to transport? Her government and that of her husband were disastrous in terms of energy, the worst in history,” she said. And in the end, she complained to the leader of the ruling party: “Don’t mess with my mother, vice president, she was a good mother”
