The Netherlands supplies Ukraine with fast and agile vessels. This concerns rubber, patrol and combat boats. The Netherlands is also contributing €250 million to the Czech initiative to order large numbers of artillery shells for Ukraine in the short term. The cabinet reports this in a letter to the House of Representatives.

This concerns 14 rigid hull inflatable boats (RHIBs), 8 militarized river patrol boats and CB90 combat boats. This concerns a mix of boats from our own resources and boats from the industry.

Since the beginning of December 2023, the Netherlands has supplied various types of ammunition, radar systems and individual weapons such as rifles and machine guns. In addition, field hospitals, tents and accessories, generators and numerous medical supplies have gone to Ukraine.

10-year security agreement

Today, the previously announced 10-year security agreement with Ukraine was also officially signed. Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed this. The focus of the agreement is on security cooperation, including medium- and long-term military support.

In addition to the Netherlands, 31 countries and the EU have concluded an official agreement with Ukraine. These agreements show that the Netherlands and international partners will continue to support Ukraine in the long term in its defense against Russian aggression.
