The National Bank of Ukraine banned transactions on accounts of Russian residents

The National Bank of Ukraine switched to an emergency mode of operation and took a number of restrictive measures in connection with the start of the military operation of the Russian troops. About this in his address informed Head of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko.

Among the decisions of the National Bank is a ban on operations on the accounts of Russian residents. In addition, a moratorium is being introduced on cross-border foreign exchange payments, except for the fulfillment of government tasks.

The hryvnia exchange rate is fixed at UAH 29.25 per dollar and has limited cash withdrawals at the level of UAH 100,000 per day.
