The Jabbeke municipal council decided on February 10 last year to pause construction. This means that the municipality will temporarily no longer grant approval for larger residential projects. But in August, the construction pause for major projects will be lifted.
The municipality therefore expects many new applications from developers after August. A residential environment plan must be in place by then. The municipality wants to clearly describe which residential projects are still possible. Jabbeke wants to guarantee the quality of life and, among other things, limit traffic nuisance.
