Friendship has no age. Just ask Madeleine Vandewalle (97). She has no grandchildren, but at the age of 97 Madeleine got a great-grandchild. Every weekday, at five to eight, the door of her room waves open in the retirement home and the 8-year-old Julie Mulder comes to visit.
