The most followed love story of the year ended up breaking up very quickly after it became public.
At the beginning of the year, photographer and director Joonas Kentämies was looking for love in the popular MTV Bachelor Finland in the program. Finns watched how 15 beauties competed for the heart of a celebrity who carved a career in Los Angeles.
It seemed for a while that the Field Man had found the love of the rest of his life in a woman he couldn’t live without.
Then things changed.

Two months passed and the confirmation came. Tor told the media in April that the relationship had come to an end. Real life brought with it challenges that were not present in the television environment. There were also differences in the worlds of values.
– If one has to invest more in the relationship, the other side gets tired. Then the relationship won’t work. Surely the TV viewers saw that I put everything on the line, Monica told Iltalehte.
The fielder kept quiet about the changed relationship situation for a few weeks, until he commented on the breakup himself on Instagram. The fielder also posted a video in which he argued that no one should go on television looking for love.

In June, Iltalehti met Kenttämieen F1on the red carpet of the movie. The fielder said in the interview that he had to use all the mental tools in terms of coping after the breakup. He needed time to himself to get well again.

Tor gave a long interview to Iltalehti in October. He explained the reasons for the separation in more detail. According to Tori, the couple’s everyday life in the shared apartment in Helsinki was not working. Publicity also started to bother Tori.
