Casual and successful: Ludovico Einaudi at his work tool

Ludovico Einaudi hasn’t been modest for a long time; For several years he has been filling the largest halls in Europe with his perfectly formed piano pieces. Now he has also become a cult phenomenon on TikTok.
Einaudi’s track “Experience”, recorded with Daniel Hope in 2013, was used as background music for a “Share the track and see what great thing happens” challenge – and it went through the roof. The track climbed into the top 10 on TikTok in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia and Spain and is at number 14 globally.

With over 1.7 million audio streams in a week, “Experience,” incidentally a nine-year-old track, eventually became the most-streamed classical track in the US in 2021. Einaudi is also more successful on Spotify than Mozart and Beethoven and thus inspires a new generation for classical music.
A few days ago, the musician’s new album “Underwater” was released. It is his first solo piano record in 20 years. He has also previously appeared in hit independent films Nomadland and The Father.
