According to Arslan Khataev, the boxing promotion lost a huge amount of money when the streams could not be sold.

Arslan Khataev says that he stayed away from Facebook for a while. However, the promoter of the F2F Event boxing event answers the questions that have been raised in the aftermath of the September night.

The snowball started on Wednesday, when F2F was actively marketed Omos “Opa” Okoh said that F2F did not pay him the promised remuneration for the work. Main match on Thursday Matias Niemi said the same thing on Instagram.

Niemi won the boxing match Jere Karalahten.

Khataev says directly that the company is running out of money.

– All other contestants except Nieme have been paid their salaries. We also haven’t been able to pay the guide yet, says Khataev.

Amin’s Customer already confirmed to Iltalehte on Friday morning that his match compensation was handled as agreed and promptly. The client agreed Timo Lainetta against in the second main match.

Khataev says that they have asked those who are waiting for the money to put their receivables into collection. At the same time, he says that no one from the organizer’s side has pocketed the money.

– We have paid everything we could. The account is empty now that we haven’t received any money from the streams.

Iltalehti also reached out to Okoh to comment on F2F’s request for collection.

– Arslan has not told me like that, Okoh says.

F2F Event’s live streaming sales site had a worse squat on the night of the match. A lot of people were left without the right to watch the broadcast. According to preliminary information, some kind of denial-of-service attack was carried out on the site that sold the stream.

However, the matter is under investigation. According to Khataev, it is also a problem for the promotion, because the viewing rights were sold by another party.

You could buy the viewing right for 9.90 euros. Khataev estimates that the collapse of the streaming business caused F2F a loss of at least half a million euros.

– We have been in contact with them and we would like to move forward with the matter. However, nothing can be done about it, because the police investigation is ongoing, and therefore it is not possible to be sure how many viewing rights were left unsold.

Khataev says that around 2,800 tickets were sold for the boxing night at the Helsinki Ice Hall.

– Our biggest source of income was supposed to be the stream. That’s why it was pretty tight for us now. The salaries in arrears are nothing compared to what we should still get from the streaming income.
