Do you need a kitchen assistant in your life who does many different devices? It connects a food processor and a smart device. It can, among other things, weigh, chop, chop, cook, steam, roast and foam, and form the dough. All of this is provided by the latest kitchen miracle device.
Iltalehti asked two diamonds from the Kitchen Professionals what they think of the phenomenon that the number of machines is increasing in home kitchens.
Roster and Robusto Entrepreneur and Chef of Roster and Robusto Kari Aihinen Has visited dozens of Finnish homes when he has encouraged people in cooking with the TV show.

– Most Finns have quite a few equipment in their kitchen. Airfryer is perhaps the most common and also the easiest. It also rescues my, two hockey teenage boys’ everyday life, says Aihinen.
If Aihinen looks at the worktop in his kitchen, in addition to the Airfryer, it has a coffee maker, a toaster, a salt and pepper mills, a work board and a blender. He laughs that much else could be done. The same situation will certainly be in many other homes. If the kitchen machine gets into a famous corner cabinet, it can easily be forgotten there.
As such, Aihinen does not oppose the equipment. After all, the professional kitchen has a variety of vampires from circular to grill. But the device should still be in use. Aihinen remembers the rowing device at home from years ago, which was under the stairs as a laundry rack rather than a fitness device.
– If the device makes everyday life easier, it’s just a good thing. For a moment, the drug goes away, time will tell what is left active. I am in love with the saying that fits in with the kitchen, love and hockey: everyday matters.
These are really needed
Aihinen is pretty sure that no one’s cooking falls into the lack of the equipment, but rather to the chef itself.
According to him, the very first thing in the home kitchen is to check that there is a decent chef, a cutting board and a frying pan. They go a long way.
– The basics are in order, they make it easier to cook. Only the next step is to detect equipment.
Hans Välimäki Brasserie Lionne’s upstairs test kitchen. Pete anikari
Restaurateur and chef Hans Välimäki Laughs that you have always liked the machines yourself.
Not all of the kitchen machines are flaged without reservation.
– The machine must be such that it is useful for yourself. The device must end up using. And it should fit on the desktop to use it, Välimäki says.
Välimäki’s own kitchen features a toaster, kettle, espresso maker, coffee bean grill, juice press, mixer, pasta machine, sandwich grill, microwave, vacuum machine and circulating.
Most of the devices are mainly for different food tests. Today, they have moved to the test kitchen upstairs in Välimäki’s newest restaurant Brasserie Leonne. For example, testing, for example, the ice cream machine is currently staying in a test kitchen.
Välimäki has noticed that the home cook has two extremes. Some want everything easily and ready, others cook like a professional kitchen.
– The know -how of home chefs has really increased. I have clients with restaurant -level equipment at home. Many watch cooking videos on the web.
Välimäki is pleased that people are interested in cooking, but he advises you to think twice if all machines do anything.
