Since the start of the military operation, more than 557,000 people have been evacuated to Russia from the Donbass and dangerous regions of Ukraine, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, said.

“Despite all the difficulties and obstacles created by Kiev, over the past day, without the participation of the Ukrainian authorities, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, as well as the International Committee of the Red Cross, 14 168 people, 891 of them are children, and in total since the beginning of the special military operation there are already 557,565 people, of which 111,870 are children,” Mizintsev said.

At the request of Roskomnadzor, RBC provides data on the details of the military operation in Ukraine based on information from Russian official sources.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense specified that on April 2, the Russian side opened humanitarian corridors in the Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol directions: one each to Russia and one each towards the western borders of Ukraine. Kyiv announced seven more corridors in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions, but none of them was in the direction of Russia, Mizintsev pointed out.
