The lovers of the mayor of Santa Marinella and the betrayals discovered

Lto history of Santa Marinella, discovered by The truth and relaunched by all the media, it really seems like the plot of an Italian comedy. The mayor, a powerful and still attractive man, has cameras installed in his office to unmask a corruption attempt, but forgets that even his – successful – attempts at seduction can be immortalized.

Among the many details of the story, there is one that particularly struck me. The husband of one of the mayor’s girlfriends made painful statements: “I don’t live anymore, I need to know, tell me if that was really my wife in the videos!”. Nothing worse. You, dear sir, have no need to know. If her wife has something to say to her, she will. But it won’t be a hidden camera that will reveal who her wife really is.

Collecting evidence of a betrayal is like doing a DNA test on your children: another serious mistake, another case in which technological progress does not help us, but rather makes our lives worse. Millions of fathers have raised with infinite love – getting up at night, trembling about their problems, accompanying them to school, following their inspirations, rejoicing in their successes – children who were not biologically theirs, but who became theirs, precisely because their fathers putative people got up at night, worried about their problems, accompanied them to school, supported their inspirations, rejoiced in their successes.

Sex: the rules to save the couple from betrayal (expert's word!)

What can a DNA test add, or take away? And what more does Santa Marinella’s husband know about his wife, now that his inappropriate curiosity has been satisfied? It was up to the woman to decide whether to confess her betrayal, how and where to do it. It seems that he has already forgiven her. At least in this he was wise.

We males love to tell ourselves that men cheat by nature, and when the woman has a reason, she feels neglected, or has revenge to take. We tend to exclude the possibility that a woman can cheat simply because she is (also) interested in another man.
