Baseball commentator Curt Schilling raved about the Boston Red Sox legend Tim from Wakefield really private information made public before Wakefield’s death, New York Post news.

Schilling revealed on his podcast that the pitcher icon and his wife Stacy are seriously ill. Tim Wakefield had brain cancer and his wife had pancreatic cancer.

– This is not a message that Tim asked to share, and I don’t even know if he wants to talk about it. But I’m a Christian, and I’ve seen how prayers can work, so I’m going to talk about this, Schilling said.

– I want Tim and Stacy to know that we are thinking of them and praying for them.

Red Sox reporter Pete Abraham’s by The Wakefields’ close circle and the entire club were enraged by what they heard.

The club had to write a press release in which it took a stand on Schilling’s exit.

– Unfortunately, this information has been shared publicly without the Wakefields’ permission. Their health is truly a private matter and they intended to keep it private during their treatments, the Red Sox wrote.

– Tim and Stacy appreciate your support and love. We kindly ask for privacy in this situation.

Tim Wakefield died on Sunday at the age of 57. He played for the Red Sox for 17 straight years and was MLB’s oldest active player when he retired.

Wakefield was selected to the MLB All-Star game once in 2009. He won two league championships in 2004 and 2007.
